Donation and starting classes

Mr. Imad Abou Jaoude from the Pontifical Mission visited Ayadina on September 18 and was very interested in our children’s programs. The donation its Director Mr. Esam Bishara made, made it possible for us to purchase some of our wish list items, being:

three CD recorders, 2 filing cabinets, one LCD projector, one flip chart, six drawing boards, one board eraser, and 4 colored markers.

We are delighted because the abovementioned items will facilitaite and enhance instruction in our fine arts program.

And we started our classes this week. This year’s novelty is guitar. we have a class of 7 students.

Here some pictures of the first week:

As you can see, Mrs. Mary El Halaby teaches piano to beginners and Ms. Mirna Shahoud English to adults.

To be continued….

Dr. Ramzi and vital signs monitor

As we mentioned before, Dr. Ramzi Hajjar, Geriatrist, was so kind to give 2 lectures at Ayadina to our senior citizens. The second time he cam was on Monday 29 September. He then had brought his vital signs monitor with him and saw many of our elderly with his own way of kindness and professionialism. He then wanted to donate this monitor to an NGO since ayadina does not have a general practician, treating elderly, so we looked in the neighborhood for the most needy NGO and found the “Dispensaire Intercommunautaire”,

and Sr. François-Marie was delighted to receive the monitor. Thank you so much Dr. Ramzi, God bless you

Outing with and for elderly

Today our elderly went on an outing to Rawda Restaurant. They really enjoyed it and had lots of fun. The meal was delicious.
